| Dear Reader,
Where can I put equipment? It's usually one of the first questions a telco must address when delivering DS1, DS3 and 10/100/1000Mb Ethernet services to cell sites.
The miniature size of Pulsecom Access Modules in combination with our family of indoor/outdoor housings gives you options to accommodate virtually any location:
Wireless provider's suite
Existing outside cabinet
New cabinet install

Access Equipment in the Wireless Provider's Suite
Locking enclosure
Customer accessible demarcs - DS1, DS3, Ethernet or GigE
Power options - AC, Span power, +/-24VDC, -48VDC
The 3O3D3-CP2C as the housing for Pulsecom's Access Modules is being used extensively to provide DS1, DS3, and 10/100/1000Mb Ethernet services in Wireless provider's suites. This enclosure provides customer accessible demarcs while keeping the electronics locked inside. The swing-out chassis makes access to the electronics easy - even in the tightest environments.

Inside an Existing Cabinet
Pulsecom's Type 200/400 mechanics architecture allows utilization of existing smart jack type shelves to provide DS1, DS3 and 10/100/1000Mb services. Or choose from Pulsecom's one and two slot mountings for fit in the tightest cabinets.

| Upgrade for Existing Outdoor Cabinets or New Installations

Flash Cut Upgrade to Fiber
Customer accessible demarcs - DS1, DS3, 10/100/1000Mb Ethernet
Power options - Span power, AC w/battery backup, +/-24VDC, -48VDC
With 150,000 domestic cell sites, a fiber upgrade solution that fits in existing cabinets can provide substantial savings and cut installation time by weeks. As a result, Pulsecom offers its unique Cell Site Snap-In kit (CSSI) designed for upgrading standard Westell CP528 cabinets - long a cell site workhorse.
The installation of this kit takes less than 30 minutes and the flashcut may be done at any time it is convenient.
New installations can also take advantage of the CP528 with CSSI kit. The small size and customer accessible demarcs make this cabinet ideal for cell site service delivery. There are plenty of cards slots to enable DS1 services today with room for growth in the form of additional DS1s, DS3s and 10/100/1000Mb Ethernet services.
As with other arrangements, AC, span powering, +/- 24VDC and -48VDC may be used for power.

| 24 to -48 VDC Power Converter
Cell sites typically have 24VDC power, but most telecom equipment requires -48VDC. Although Pulsecom's products have been designed to accept either source, other equipment may not have that advantage.
Pulsecom's 24 to -48 VDC Power Converter meets that need. The 24-48DC provides two fused -48VDC outputs that deliver up to 35W each in a compact 3.5" x 5.0" size.
