Pulsecom’s Digital Loop Carrier (DLC) systems multiplex traffic from 24 users over a single data link over a copper T1, fiber, and radio, HDSL-2 or HDSL link. Typically deployed outside of the central office in the local loop, DLC systems make it easier and more cost-effective to service new users, since fewer and smaller cables are required for providing expanded service. The DLC Solutions offered by Pulsecom include Series 5 systems and plug-ins, plug-ins for SLC®-96, DDM-2000 and SLC-2000, and S-24DU systems for small and rural telcos. As such, Pulsecom offers a complete set of options -- including a complete family of cabinet and rack configurations to facilitate quick and easy installation and turn-up and several supported interfaces, including TR-008, TR-303, and Universal -- that enable you to find a system that perfectly fits your requirements. Since DLC systems are often deployed in rural locations, Pulsecom's power and battery systems and rugged enclosures are designed to set the standard for dependable service.
